History
For decades our brands have been actively engaged in charitable activities, both locally and globally. Our brands are inspiring, inclusive, powerful and given this able to carry out meaningful philanthropic work.
In 2011 the Boardriders Foundation (nee Quiksilver Foundation) was formed to bring all of our company’s charitable giving under one umbrella i.e. regardless of channel, department or brand leads the charge. In 2025 this was deregistered and is now a division of our corporate business called Boardriders Community
Mission
Boardriders Community is a charitable division of Boardriders South Pacific committed to benefiting and enhancing the quality of life for all boardrider communities by supporting environmental, educational, health and youth-related projects.
Our Pillars
We work to design and manufacture the world’s finest products for boardriders while continuing to reduce our environmental impact through more sustainable materials and processes — and extending this commitment beyond our products by actively supporting environmental restoration programs, protecting wildlife habitats, and empowering the next generation of ocean advocates.
At Boardriders our mission is to uplift communities, create meaningful opportunities, and change lives through the power of support, connection, and the ocean. We are committed to restoring dignity for people experiencing hardship, empowering our youth through education and work experience, and improving well being through surf-based therapeutic programs.
